As some of you may didn’t know, the first Apple Store in France was inaugurated less than 2 weeks ago, in Paris.
The second one opened last Saturday (November 14) in “Montpellier”. That was the closest Apple Store for me.
I went in with some friends, and got interviewed by LoKan, MacPlus & Welovemac.

I was waiting for the new iMac since August. And Apple made my day today!
I’ve ordered a 27″ iMac 2.88Ghz Corei7 for 1,600 € (about 17% discount). And now, I’m just waiting for it (shipped in November).

I took a break and thought about 64bits in Ecoute.
The goal of Ecoute is to provide a low memory footprint, and 64bits uses more memory.
The decision was simple : No 64 bits until Mac OS X 10.7 (supposing it will be for 64bits computers only).

I know that it’s kinda weird (and maybe bad?) to have a soft like Ecoute updated every weeks.. But, [...]

PixiApps was an idea from Olivier Charavel, a talented UI Designer (He made Ecoute).
Unfortunately, he couldn’t stay and work with me on other projects ideas we had (he had :p).
I’ve decided to keep PixiApps anyway, and keep making some good and well designed software like Ecoute.
The only thing I need is some ideas.. and UI [...]

I’m pretty sure that some of you are waiting for a 64bits version of Ecoute.
I must say : useless.
64Bits is awesome.. but there’s no difference between a 32bits and 64bits application like Ecoute. Of course, you’ll see a difference with Photoshop CS4 VS Photoshop CS5, but Ecoute v64bits won’t be faster than the actual 32bits [...]

Some users told me on MacUpdate to stop adding new features, because Ecoute has to stay the lightweight player it is..
